I am tring to remove my front left axle and can't get the upper cv joint housing out. It was tough going in and come to find out it is the wrong one. After market mistake. Also the snap ring on the end was square not round. The housing won't come off. I got a wedge behind it and can't pop it off. I am going to use a slide hammer tomorrow. Any ideas how to grab ahold of housing? Anyone been through this? We are going to burn a hole in the housing to grab it tomorrow and hopefully it will pop out. If anyone has anything to add...... PLEASE HELP!!
