I have just bought 2002 Freelander HSE, the car has few issues so it won't pass safety and emission tests, which is required to get it registered in Canada. I would really appreciate if someone could advice me how to get it fixed for cheap and without going to Land rover dealership.

Sunroof won't close, it's stuck in tilt position I can move it an inch back and forth but it will not fully open or close, I took it to couple of mechanics but everyone gave me different verdict saying it could cost me up to $800 to get it fixed, but I cant afford that much.

One of the flux pipes is leaking, and rear window won't move either.

PLEASE HELP, is there any mechanic in Mississauga/Toronto area that I should see? I am fairly technical person and with a little help maybe I could fix these problems myself.
