I recently bought a 2004 Freelander HSE. Trying to get an emissions inspection & getting rejected cause certain systems are shooting codes that tell the tech that the car is not "ready". Getting codes 1470 1472 0341 1775 0705. Replaced vis motor #2 & car is running better but still bring code so I can't get it inspected or renew registration in Virginia! At my wits end & have been scouring forums for answers to no avail! Please help with insight & for those that want to say the car is a piece of *#^ please....... Heard enough of that just want a fix.

does it turn the light on or not. the vis code will be set but will not turn on the cel light. I am not a VA tech but a NY tech but we only run for monitors. if the light is off and the system monitors are ready then its fine.

 

Cel light goes on in position 2 but goes off when car runs (normal I believe). Problem is that inspectors (2) say car is not ready for test. They recommend I drive it for several days on highway to get it "ready". Problem is if not ready cant perform test. Kinda frustrating...
