Battery change, increase fuel usage
Newbie here calling for help, hope this is posted in the correct place.
About 6 months ago I changed the battery on a Freelander II and thought I noticed an increase in fuel usage. Over the last 2 months I have been vigilant in checking fuel usage and mileage.
Before battery change I was getting according to the computer approx 38 miles per gallon and spending approx £100 per month on fuel.
After battery change I am now getting according to the computer approx 31 miles per gallon and spending approx £115 per month on fuel.
My question is would a battery change have caused this or is there possible something else wrong, your help would be appreciated.
