Default Brake problems

Wondering if anybody can help, i recently bought a 51 plate freelander td4 esx, the problem is that on full lock either right or left, it feels as though the brakes are being applied without me touching the brake peddle, this happens when going either forward or in reverse ?

This is a normal characteristic for vehicles with four wheel drive and viscous couplings, such as the Freelander and Suburu.

If it becomes excessive, it may be because the VCU is seizing. This can be checked using the instructions here: www.ashcroft-transmissions.co.uk

Cheers

I already ask my uncle about your problem. He also said that it's quite normal SPECIALLY for a Freelander.
