Default Faults due to water!!!

My Freelander 2 (2007) has been fantastic for the last three years, but yesterday I had to drive through a flood which was deeper than expected (they always are!) It went through fine as expected even though the headlights were completely submerged but it has triggered a 'Transmission Fault, traction reduced' and a 'Terrain Response Faulty' signal. I was expecting a signal of some kind! My question is, Do I just wait and let everything dry out and drive as usual or do I take it to the garage for them to sort it out for me? The book of words (owners handbook) does advocate extreme caution but the symbol is only 'i' not '!' so can I drive it or not!!!!!
Your help will be very valuable. Many thanks, Roger

Dry out. If you want to open up connectors and re-apply dielectric grease, there are many.
