Default Warranty Coming Due!

Hi - I just purchased a 2006 LR3. It has 44k miles and the warranty is set to expire in January 2010.

I wanted to poll people to see what I should have checked out before the warranty expires.

The following is on my list
1. Replace corroded Land Rover letters on hood
2. LCD display is hard to see on Radio. Replace?

Is there anything that I can have checked? Can they check the suspension?

Any advice is appreciated

Well you have a list of items that are not very important, how about your truck in general, have you crawled under it, checking for leaks or broken parts, how about in the engine compartment, leaks or engine noises. Have you checked the operation of every switch for the entire truck???????????????
Go get busy.

These are my suggestions: in no specific order
1. Have dealership perform a complimentary 140 point inspection. This will ID required TSB's and Recalls not yet performed (if applicable)
2. Start shopping around for extended warranty.
3. Yes!, dealership will replace letterings/decals on hood and tailgate
4. Get faded control ***** on radio/temp control replaced
5. Check cracks on mooroof rails
6. Ditto on Disco Mike's suggestion to check every buttons and swiches. I discovered my rear A/C vents on floor did not work.

Anyone else got anything to add?

I take it you didn't read or believe my PM to you earlier this morning, get rid of the links or you will be deleted this afternoon.
