First checks on my new 2004 Freelander TD4
Hello everybody,
as I wrote in the presentation post I just got a 2004 Freelander TD4 with about 175.000km.
The general conditions are fair but today I started doing a few checks and I have a couple of doubts and I would like to have an opinion from those who are more experienced.
1) Front drive shaft
It seems to me that the whole shaft is in good condition, there is no play in the central part and in the two intermediate bearings.
In the attack on the front differential, however, I noticed a bit of play and seeing that the attack on the rear one does not have even a bit of it, I wondered if that is something not normal.
It has a few millimeters of play in all directions, up / down / right / left and a fairly firm "clack" is heard. I made a video to better explain the problem:
The noises in the video are produced by my hand pushing the shaft close to the differential. In the video you can also see the area of the differential where the shaft is attached is dirty with oil, is it normal?.
2) Joint shaft
They seem to me to be in good condition but I would like to know if I have to grease the joint and in case with witch type of grease?.
3) Engine
Today when I turned it on it seemed to me that it was running on three cylinders, I didn't have time to check but I recorded a video on the fly.
Maybe some of you can tell me "by ear" if it seems like it runs normally or not.

Bonsoir mon ami, Oui a l'écoute de ta vidéo il réside un problème, a tu un outils de diagnostic,car c'est primordial avec cet engin 😉 par contre bizarre car un injecteur en moins sur ce rail empêche le moteur de démarrer, combien en pression de rail ?🖐️
