First time poster here. I’ve bought a second hand 2014 Freelander 2 today at auction.



I’ve picked it up, mechanically seems ok, no knocking etc however the headlamps do not work. The DRL’s are working however no side lights, headlamps or main beam.



I have tried both manual and auto settings, the lights come on the dash to indicate the lights are on but nothing on the front of the car.



All other lights work fine. If it helps, when I select main beam there is a knocking noise from under the bonnet.



Any ideas from you wonderful people!
