I have a 2003 Freelander,and the back window wont go up or down and the tailgate wont open,I can hear a click when i push the button,and the key doesnt make either one work either.Any suggestions would be great.

sounds like a failed regulator, just like the windows, theres one for the tailgate too. its controlled by the ccu, so its most likely not a fuse, as the ccu wont allow it to draw more current then it should. i thing i would suggest as a shot before anything gets replaced, is disconnect the battery for about 15 minutes, and when you hook it back up and thurn the key on, the rear glass should roll all the way down. give it a shot
