Default Immobilisor Problem???

Hi, I am not on hear very often but I really need help. I have a Freelander 1.8 Petrol 1999 'S' reg, I went out to start it yesterday and it wouldn't start at all this has happened before but it has always started.

Here is what is happening, I am putting the key in the ignition and turning it till all the dash lights are on, I then go to start it and nothing happens at all (during that the immobilisor light is solid red). I open the bonnet then the alarm starts going off, I've checked the starter motor connection which seems to be fine.

I've tried wiggling the key , unlocking the car, locking the car, changed the fob battery, resyncing the fob (it doesn't do nowt) entering the EKA code. Nothing works. Currently my car is sitting at my grans, waiting to get uplifted and taken to the garage.

Any help/advice would be very much appreciated.

Toni x

When you turn the key, can you hear the petrol pump ?
Fearing the typical problm of 1,8 engine...look at your oil filling hole..is there mayonnaise ? i mean oil emulsion ?
