Default long time freeland owner - TD4

Can anyone help please! My Freelander has decided to just keep stopping. I have replaced fuel pump, fuel filter, high pressure fuel sensor on fuel rail and lead, also the relevant relay in fuse box (yellow oxo cube). She will run for 700+ miles without a hiccup, then on a 20 mile journey will just stop, or when parked refuse to start again. She doesn't splutter or cough it is as if she has been turned off however, the ignition lights all come up. She has restarted after a thump on fuse box or cpu.

Has anyone any ideas, she is becoming untrustworthy and we are getting nervous, she is usually totally reliable. Please HELP

I'm not sure if it is the same thing, but my 02 KV6 will, on occasion, turn over without starting. It has about 125k miles, and I've found it is immobilizing itself. I no longer have the key fob, so I must get out and lock/unlock the door with the key. It then starts immediately. I'm not sure what the root cause is, and it does not turn itself off, but I've grown accustomed to the problem.
