Hi there Am after some help my freelander serengeti 2.0L TD 2003 is misfiring . Sometimes the problem is worse than others to the extent the engine will not start. The Engine light keeps coming on itermmitently. Its been through an electronics diagnostic and only thing that showed was reduced pressure (which is obvious). Air filter has been changed . Any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated

 

Do you have a regular shop that takes care of it? I would check the plugs first for the fault. If that is it, then you want to know why the plug is gone. Be especially afraid if it is using coolant.

 

do you have the OBD II codes?

 

I don't know if you can find the codes here, but they can be found on the internet, didn't see them in my RAVE CD, I also think you can find them in the sticky section at RangeRovers.net
