Default No coolant flow after change

Just changed coolant on 02 Freelander. Bled air at heater hose according to manual when filling. Not getting coolant through radiator. Top radiator hose very hot - bottom hose cold. Will overheat if I let it run. Tried squeezing lower return hose to work out any air pockets. Possibly air block at thermostat? Any suggestions? Had been parked for about a year with bad transmission - just replaced all solenoids and seems to work now.

More likely radiator is blocked. Of course, thermostat has to open for major flow. And hoses have to be going to the right place. See attached.
