Rear door won't open

Default Rear door won't open
Suddenly last night I can't open the back door on my wife's 2002 Freelander. The window is stuck in the ready to open position (about an inch open), and when you press the handle, nothing happens. I can't find a blown fuse and there appears to be no way to even jimmy the door open.

Any help would be much appreciated!

needs a latch assembly not hard to install cant remember price....
