Default Rear window not lowering. & coolant leak

02 Freelander(my daughters car and she loves it) has the typical coolant leak issue. I have to add about a cup every week. No sign of the coolant in the oil or anywhere else. However, I do have oil droplets in the reservoir. Headgasket and /or thermostat?

On the rear window. When you press the latch the window lowers but not quite enough to clear the plastic trim. I can open the door but it scrapes the trim. After opening I can push the window down about a quarter of inch and thusly shut the door. I am concerned that one day it will not go down enough and prevent the door from opening. Is there any adjustment or has something come loose worn out in the track? I noticed this after the battery was replaced. I went through the set window preocedure but is there something I am missing?

On the rear window issue I had the same thing happen to me. I had to take the back panel off and saw that the scissor track had come just loose. also you can roll the window all the way down , then disconnect battery for 10 mins then reconnect. roll window all the way up and see if it reset itself. This had worked for me once. I am a BMW tech for pre2002 models and this is the poor mans way of doing it.

I dunno if it helps but thought I would throw it out there.
