Default Disable rear lowering when door opens?

not sure what the option is called, but whenever I turn the vehicle off, it lowers in the rear once I open the door. I have a switch on the dash to raise it, but that seems to only work at certain times. Can I bypass that so it never drops?

First thing you need to do is find and read the owners manual so you know what things are called and how they work.
You have an SLS issue, which you have made worse by playing with the dash button, which is only intented to be used off road and under 10 or 15 MPH. In your case you have cause an additional fault with the system that will need to be corrected before you do anything else.
What year is your truck, how many miles on it and have the bags ever been changed before?
You might want to send me your tele number if you want some help.

Thanks, I agree I need a Manual.
I never messed with the button when moving. Its an 00, 125k. I just bought it, Owner said the control box under the hood was recently replaced, unsure if bags were.
If you need I can PM my number, thanks.
