Default starting problems

Hi

A few months ago I began having starter problems with my Freelander, occasionally I would only hear a "click" coming from the engine bay when the ignition key was turned but the engine would not crank. Usually it would do this once or twice and then start. The problem began to get worse, sometimes taking 15-20 clicks before it would start, but it always started. This morning it would not start at all...

Has anyone experienced this issue with their Freelander?

Cheers
H

Yep probabaly a bad starter or even a dead battery. Since yours is automatic trans., make sure that it is in park mode when you try to start.
