Hi i joined this site because i recently recieved a 2003 freelander from a friend and it when i got it i jumped it and it started rough though and then died. When i tried again it would only crank once per every 2 seconds or so and wont crank over. I have no idea what it could be. If anyone has had this problem or know what might be wrong or can tell me what to troubleshoot i would really appreciate it.

Well check to see your friend did the fuel pump recall for V6 Freelanders.

if it was not done you will have to get it towed to the dealer.

if it was then you will have to start checking stuff. If you don't have anything take it someplace to get it diagnosed. lots of issues on these vehicles.
