check out the back for corrosion in the nav unit and the radio and the amp. if the stuff has power and ground then you need to swap out a known good amp and or radio unit.

Is the radio unit in the dash or in the left rear qtr compartment?

Well, took the Rover to a stereo shop and they said they diagnosed a bad radio unit. So, I went home and pulled the radio unit out and was going to order one from car-part.com. I noticed a small 10a fuse and pulled it out and held it up to a light and it looked good, but for kicks I tested it with my ohm meter, viola, bad fuse. I replaced the fuse and put her all back together and the radio works!

Awesome! This is a good example of why its always best to perform a thorough test (checking resistance on the fuse) rather than just using observation (the fuse looks good). How much money did you save by taking an extra 5 seconds to properly test the fuse?! Whatever the amount, I'm sure it's a good time/dollar ratio!

Good job! Always start with the most simple and CHEAPEST thing before moving on to the big ticket items. Well done. I am guilty of starting with the most expensive thing (worst case scenario), it never pays off.
