Default 03 Range Rover Aftermarket Deck Install?

Hey,

I just bought an 03 Range Rover, all stock. I would like to put an aftermarket, double din, nav/dvd player, in but i'm worried that i will loose the ability to change the time on the clock along with other things if i do. I'm wondering if anyone else has replaced theirs and what issues they've come across, if any. I talked to my stereo guy and he said that there is an adapter that will allow me to still use the controls on the steering wheel but i don't know what other functions it will let me keep.

ANY IDEAS?

go with a bmw unit that updates and gives sat nav and ipod control. check out range rover.net for more info on the subject.

and I have seen the bmw units installed and work quite well.

Thank you for your response, I am going do some more research on that. I was wondering if you knew whether or not the BMW deck will allow me to keep all the functionality of my stock deck or it anything will be lost? Also do you know if I will be able to control the ipod from the deck or will it just play through the speakers and i have to control it via the ipod itself?
