Default 03 RR - Suspension 'up' but inactive - Help

A month or so ago, the air suspension wasn't working correctly - the low position, when selected raised the front end. Both the center and lower lights blinked. After driving for a period of time, the suspension returned to the normal drive height with the center light lit. The 'high' position worked fine.

Last week, I tried the suspension options again, thinking maybe this was a fluke. Same thing, on the low setting. But I didn't drive the vehicle and then selected the high setting - the vehicle raised to the high setting. When I tried to select the normal drive height - the high and middle lights flashed a few times - then the light went out completely.

A warning fault message came on indicating 'selflevel susp. inactive' - followed by 'offroad 35 mph max'. The suspension is stuck in the high position - these faults are repeated every few seconds.

Any ideas what's going on here? Obviously the compressor is working.

Thanks
bob

try driving around and it should settle back down to regular mode. If you are stuck in high mode and the switch is problematic then by driving around over 35 it forces the ecu to put it in regular mode.

if that won't work you could have an issue with the exhaust valve.
