Default Air suspension inactive and HDC inactive

I bought an early 2003 HSE Range Rover a few months ago and have been having alot of problems with the air suspension. About a week after i bought the car the message "Air susp. inactive" Came up. A few days later i got "self level inactive" and the car went right down on the bump stops at the front and right up at the back. I took it into a range rover dealer and they reset the fault codes, which fixed it for a couple more days until the exact same thing happened again. This has gone on for 3 months now and i had it in at the dealer for a week, they couldn't fix it. Now, this morning i got both the air suspension inactive message AND a new one "HDC inactive".

The dealer has checked for leaks and found none. The previous owner left some invoices in the car, he had only just recently (20,000km's ago) gotten a new air compressor put in it.

Any suggestions?

I don't know what's wrong with it, but you might want to see if you can find a more competent mechanic than the dealer. I know this is easier said than done.

If the cr can sit there and not leak and drop down or sag then there is something else wrong and not a leaking bag. You may have an issue with the sensors and possibly the EAS brain. What were the codes that showed up when they cleared them?

I agree with Nato and try to find someone who has some good knowledge of the air system.
