i need to go get a certified vin inspection at state patrol but i need the srs light off while im there so that they can do it, can someone tell me how to turn it off for like 30 min?

if i take out the fuse for the srs light will it work?

You can pull the bulb out I suppose, but generally if they know it has airbags they will check to see if the light comes on at start up, and if it doesn't... FAIL. At least that is what they do for the check engine light when I go get my emissions test.

Make sure the connector under the seat hasn't been partially dislodged. The connector is yellow in color.
