Default 2003 Range Rover Stopped Running

My 2003 Range Rover has 175,000 miles.

I bought it new and have I have had water pump and all new hoses and radiator replaced, and air shocks. Far few problems than my two old P38's.

At 1am in pouring rain the RR started to hesitate when accelerating up hill on interstate. Then a few sort of violent noisy surges and stumbles.

Made it to hotel and next day tried to start. Very rough idle. Had it towed home.

Any idea of problem?

Bad Gas?
Bad Fuel Pump? Bad Throttle body or TPS? Bad sensors?

Transmission worn out?

I would not mind trying a few hundred dollar repair at home before spending thousands at dealer.

Any codes?

Does it have fuel pressure at the rail? How old is fuel filter?
