Hi All,

Has anyone run into the steering wheel telescoping function not working? What might the cause be? The tilt function works. When I try the to telescope in/out, the electric motor operates, but nothing moves. The column appears to be stuck all the way down (furthest from the driver).

Also, I have and R/T button on the steering wheel that doesn't appear to do anything, does anyone know what it could be for?

In case anyone has a similar issue, I took the bottom cover plate off by the steering column and found the motor just hanging. I was able to put the motor back in place and fix the problem. Its funny though, there was no damage to the mount. I'm guessing it was not installed properly at the factory and came loose early on. The previous owners must have never used the telescoping feature.

Still don't know what the R/T does.
