Hello gents, I was driving down the street and my transmission down shifted to low gear on its own and the descending lo mountain light is on and the car won't go in reverse or drive. any Ideas on what could be the issue?

i thought so but, I took it off the transfer case put 12V to pins 9 and 10 and it spins. I also tested the variable resister on pins 2 and 4 while applying 12V and that gave me a reading of up to 4.5K ohms. I put the stepper motor (shift Motor) back on and I still have "Transfer-box Neutral". could I have missed something?
