Default 2014 RR lowering question

There is a button near the window open/close buttons to lower the car. I have recently been told by dealer it's better for the car suspension if I lower the car everytime before turning it off. I have not lowered the car ever since I started driving it 3 years ago. So far, nothing wrong with the suspensions.

So do you guys always lower the car before turning it off? Is that really better for the car? I don't mind to do it, just that I afraid that it actually hurts the car more by lowering it so often.
