'96 RR 4.0se air filter
Today I was driving my '96 RR to the salvation army to donate it since I couldn't seem to find an air filter element.
The listed part is approx. 8"x9"----- I need 9"x10"
As I drove, My teary eyes wandered to a PePboys, I swerved in and asked the mngr. if I could look thruogh the 6,575 boxes of filters they stock.
It's a PUROLATOR PREMIUM PLUS --- A45568.
It never occured to me that my truck was late '95 production.
On the way home, I lost that 2--3,000 rpm dead spot.
I guess I'll keep him for a while.
