Default 98 RR 4.0 SE AC "book symbol" fault/warranty question

My AC book symbol is on...the driver side will pump AC but not heat when manually adjusted, but it will on the passenger side. I read the followig on another forum:

"If your system is adjustable on one side, but not the other –
meaning one side is stuck on hot, cold, or somewhere in
between you probably have a bad servo motor set. Land Rover
sells these servos in sets of three (left, right, and center blend).
A VERY resourceful owner could replace these items at home,
but most people will do better to find a specialist. This repair
takes most of a day to complete."

I have a warranty and it covers the following:

compressor, condenser, receiver dryer and accumulator are
covered under the A/C

Is the servo part of the above? or arguably part of the above?

thanks for your help"

The Blend Door actuator set is probably NOT covered. If you find that is indeed the case, I have the part available through www.eurotekapg.com at a substantially lower price than the Dealer, and competitve with the big parts suppliers.

Contact me if you need more details.

Call your warranty company to make sure, but I have to agree with Mike, it is probably not covered unless you also got the high tech option.
