Default RR Classic - weird problem - wipers

Hi All,

I am the proud new owner of a Classic Vogue SE which after 13 good years seem to be going a little senile! The wipers have a mind of their own and switch themselves on, and indeed off, randomly. To be fair to them they always come on when asked and the regular, fast and intermittent wipe all work on request as does the rear wash/wipe. It is just that they come on when not asked too.

I have tried renewing the arm but this seemed to make no difference so now the only solution is to remove fuse C5!

Has anyone else heard of this - I have searched the net high and low but no joy!

thanks, Jon.

I bet the stop switch inside the woper motor is failing, if that is the case, there is no repair only replacement of the wiper motor.
