ABS Traction control problem after using EAS Unlock Software
Just when I thought I had all the bugs worked and it was working 100%.
Well tonight I located the last air leak in my EAS (air line at the valve block.) I sat in my truck, fired it up and then turned on the EASUNLOCK software so that I could depressure the air bags and tank. Shortly after pugging it in the truck beeped and the ABS/TRACTION CONTROL lights/messages came on. I hadn't touched anything near the wheels and I hadn't even gotten out of the truck. How could the EAS software mess up the ABS/traction?? Are the two systems linked in some strange way? What in the world is going on here? I have never had a problem with them before and it was working when I parked it. What gives? I guess the Rover gods didn't want me to get too comfortable with all my free time.

Do you have any way to scan for fault codes? Normally when I'm scanning a vehicle, its not usual for the ABS lights to come on, as the scanner communicating on the data bus sometimes interrupts data transmission to the ABS unit, but once I'm done scanning the lights go back off.
