Default Aftermarket Warrantee? anyone had any luck with one?

I have a 05 RR HSE and my factory warrantee is up in Jan. Has anyone had any luck with an affordable aftermarket warrantee?

Well I guess I will take the no response to this as a clue that there aren't any good companies out there. I guess I will just take my chances and save the $3,000.00 that the company I was going to go with and hope nothing extremely expensive goes on my 05 RR HSE. The company I was going to go with was either warranties4wheels.com or AAAutoWarranty.com

I don't like aftermarket warranties so I can't say. They always seem a little shady.

I bought a warranty for my 99 HSE through warranties4wheels. The warranty is through Great Lakes Warranty. They were not easy to deal with when I finally had to make a claim, but in the end they did pay for the repairs. The dealer wanted to replace the engine right away, and the warranty company refused to do that. I took the car to a friend's dealership, who had a mechanic who said he believed the tapping noise was the lifters, and the warranty company agreed to fix that. However, they only wanted to fix the one or two that was apparently making the noise. That didn't seem crazy to me, and since I was already into the engine, I replaced all the lifters. They piecemealed me like this over and over again, and eventually it was clear that the engine was not repairable. They did send out a refurbished engine, but I was out $3,000 on the wasted labor and parts that I bought along the way. I can't say that I disagreed so much with their strategy, but they should not have resisted the dealer's advice in the beginning. This process took 6 months. If I didn't have a backup car, I probably would have caved in early and paid for this myself. I believe they were hoping I would give up. Frankly, I would be surprised to hear that they sold another warranty on an RR of my vintage.

It's best to save your money and pray for the best. the Aftermarket companies hardly ever pay the full price of repairs and your vechile usally sits at the shop exta days while the company is authorizing the repair. I'll never do it again.

I agree most after market warranties are not good. My dealer offered an in house warranty for 4k. But that means you most go there for repairs. If it is a pre-exsiting condition they won't fix it.
