Ok one other question. Do I need to have the RR in any certain mode, Street, highway, wade, to replace them? I just didn't know if there was a certain height that they come off easier.

You will have to have the vehicle suspended through something (lift, blocks, etc) other then the air suspension since you will be performing work on it. I would recommend raising it to the highest setting while you block it since it's much easier to get underneath. If you have a lift obviously that wont be a concern.

I don't know how to do it any other way but when I worked on mine I used the EASunlock software to completely lower the suspension and drain the compressors air reservoir *after* I had made sure the vehicle was properly blocked.

So I couldn't just use the jack that comes with the range rover to lift one side at a time then?

I wouldn't do it one side at a time as it could potentially strain/damage the other side. You can definitely use the jack that came with it but I would at least block the opposite side and it would be best to block both. If you do just use the jack that came with it be extremely careful while you are under as the jack alone leaves little room if something goes wrong (i.e. in the unlikely event the jack fails, slips, etc).

It can be done with the jack alone but unless it's a roadside repair or emergency situation i'd block it.
