Any suggestions for extended warranties?
I just purchased a 2003 RR and have searched online for reputable warranty companies. I found that Warranties 4 Wheels looks pretty good and offers additional coverage for the air suspension and wear n tear. Anyone have any good recommendations?
Thanks

Funny, I came on to ask the same question today! I am in a predicament. I was thinking of upgrading from my 2003 Disco (47,500 miles), to a 2007 LR3....
I am currently visiting family in another state, and decided to get an oil change, and pick up a couple of wiper blades at the local LR dealership...while I was there I asked about extended warranties:
They said they provide a warranty by "EasyCare" , and said this was the same underwriter for land rover assured warranties. Basically, the maximum warranty level (total care) offered for 3year/36,000 miles for 3,100 dollars (you can get longer or shorter time lengths), with 100 dollar deductible. But you have to have your car inspected first by the dealership out of your own pocket.
Any thoughts? or anyone hear of these easy care warranties?
I like my disco, its low mileage, and $3,000, sounds a lot better than $25, 000 or so for a LR3 at the moment.
All thoughts and opinions are welcome

Type "easy care warranty" into google and read all the ripoff reports and you'll probably avoid that. Most 3rd party administrators selling these warranties are fly by night and will deny coverages. Other than a warranty that your dealer / manufacturer will service and honor, with very clearly listed coverages and exclusions - I wouldn't get one. Remember these service contracts are typically backed by an insurance policy (if the administrator even submits the premium after taking their usual 40-50% profit out of what you pay) and most of those were funneled over to either AIG or other now faltering companies. They are in the business to NOT pay...my answer on our newest Rovers is to make sure I don't own them outside of warranty anymore.
AAA does to seem to have a more reputable following and product - but I think you will find that the high cost items and those prone to needing repair on a Rover - EAS, etc. won't be covered.
