Default Automatic Locking

One week ago today I bought a jet/jet 2008 RR HSE. Love it so far. One question for you all...the doors are not locking when I put the car in drive and drive away. Anyone know the solution for this or do I have to go to the dealer?
Thanks!

If you believe they should be and they are not then a mechanic will need to check the lock actuators in the doors and see if they have failed or just need to be reprogramed.

Thanks mike. The doors do lock when I push the button both on the key FOB and on the dashboard...just not when I drive away and the manual says they should. I'll take it in to the dealer.

One other question...folks on the other end of telephone conversations have told me they hear an echo when I'm using the bluetooth. Any ideas for that one.

Thanks again,
Bill

The echo is your mic picking up the audio from your speakers. Try turning it down, or see if there is a sensitivity on the mic you can set.

And it should be a setting the dealer can change for you. Most other cars I've been in have the option of all doors lock >5 mph, or just drivers door locks, etc

the dealer has to enable the feature in the ccf, no other way... as to the echo, there may be an update, dependant on the software level in the car... or it could just be the volume

Is there a list of these "options" that the dealer can enable/disable?
