Just looking to see what size batteries some of you guys have in your P38s. I suspect that I don't have the correct battery in mine. It doesn't fill up the space for the battery and it is only 650 CCA. What size battery do you have any how many CCAs is it?

 

UGHHH I have a dinky battery too. Not sure what the size is exactly. It has been adequate, but the battery drains after a couple of weeks of inactivity. If you are looking for a good replacement, get a duralast. There is something to be said about a battery that keeps coming back strong even after it has been completely drained 12 times! On my last trip with me being an idiot and inserting fuses in the "unlabeled" part of the fuse box, the batter is finally on it's last leg .

 

I've always thought that my truck cranks slower than it should. The battery also drains in about 20 to 30 min if I leave the ignition on with the engine off. When I bought the truck they said they just put a new battery in it. I think they just put the cheapest (smallest) one they could find because they were getting rid of it.

 

The previous owner put a "new" one in mine. It was a wal-mart battery, looked like it was for a lawn mower. The battery lasted about a month lol.
