Default Bearmach Hawkeye Land Rover Diagnostic

Question, with a Bearmach Hawkeye Land Rover Diagnostic tool reset the abs lights and read their codes?

I recently had an issue with whats called the "3 amigos" where three lights come on together. The lights would come on when depressing the peddle and then they would go out leaving only the ABS light.

I read a tutorial about the ABS accumulator pump as a "quick fix" for this type of issue. The only thing is, now they all three stay on all the time now.

Thanks

Yes that tool will work. I used it in Costa Rica , but more on diesel engines (Independent shop in San Jose CR)

On a P38 don't overlook the brake switch or "slack" in the pedal pivot.

Both will activate the "los tres amigos" if out of adjustment or the pedale isnt returning in a positive fashion to compress the brake switch plunger.

Note the brake pump should operate for about 15 to 30 seconds from cold to raise brake residual pressure. Be wary of constant running after 45 seconds this indicates a worn pump, accumulator defective or valve block (brick).
