Default Which is better/stronger ABS or non ABS swivel pin housings?

I've got myself into a situation...

I have an 88 RRC that I ordered castor corrected swivel *****, new swivel pins/bearings, and new hub seals and bearings. I'm doing a full R&R of every bearing and seal etc.

Problem is, I pulled off the wheels and had a good stair at everything before digging in, and realized some clever f*ck installed ABS knuckles on the truck prior to my ownership.

So now I've got a whole pile of non-abs parts for my rebuild, and ABS knuckles.

I can either return some of the parts (some I can't return) and get all new ABS stuff, or I can buy some non ABS swivel pin housings (if I can find them) and convert the axle back to non ABS spec.

New/used housings will probably cost more, but if the swivel bearing are more robust or some such advantage it would be worth it, sorta.

If there is no advantage to the non ABS housings, or if they are worse in some way, I might start shipping parts back.... arghh.

Thoughts??
