I just got a freelander made a 45 minute drive home vehicle seems sluggish. After getting home and starting next day vehicle will hardly move at all very bad idle. I checked it out with scan tool and it said I was getting multiple cylinder misfires. I checked spark plugs to find there is oil in the spark plug holes. I decide to replace the valve cover gasket. Now the vehicle will rev up in park but has no acceleration in gear. Idk if the vehicle has gone into some kind of safe mode or what hope someone can help me understand. I'm suspicious the thing could be out of time or something.
