Default Coil Conversion, I did it!

I received my coil conversion box from Airnotte Industries and decided to tackle the project myself. Mind you I am no mechanic or would I ever consider tackling a project of this nature. But the fact that I needed to have my car available and did not want to wait until my personal mechanic had time to take in my car to work on, I decided to just study the project, slowly creeping into it, raising the car, removing the wheels, realizing hmmm, looks easy enough to remove and swap....before I knew it I had actually done all four corners and was done. I still need to do the electrical mods to disable the EAS from triggering any messages, but so far I disconnected the compressor so it wouldn't keep working. I am not getting any messages at all so far, but I think if I dont it will eventually drain the battery. In any case I just wanted to share my excitement and pride that I actually did it! Me! So if anyone is doubtful about if they can do it. Trust me you can. And save some $$$. If anyone has any Q's about doing it. Im am more than happy to share info. Happy Thanxgiving.
P.S. I was thinking about selling my compressor, it is in perfect working condition. anyone know how much I could get for it. Or if anyone here is interested just let me know and we can work something out!!

Nice Job, You will like it a lot better with coils. Unhook power from compresser and you wont drain battery. also check with EE for the EAS removal thing a ma jig.

I modified the eletrical circuitry per instructions that came with the coils, and it was pretty easy actually. Now the car gives me the message of "eas manual" and then turns off. Cool!! I also removed the valve block, compressor, and i think it is the dryer device which removes moisture from the sucked in air. all of it to be sold to anyone interested!! The only thing I wish i could fix is...
When I had last parked the car, I put the car in the max extended height (cuz i like the look), but because the car had settled somewhat and then I swapped out the bags for the coils, the computer still wants to keep the car in the extended height. So i keep getting the orange bulbed picture of the car with the arrow underneath it in the dash (below gauges) and the height selector button keeps flashing to try and raise the car! But as soon as i exceed 35mph, it goes away, and then of course, back to less than 35mph it comes back. I dont really mind it, cuz i can play with the height selector button when driving (you know just pretend fun to have while driving). But i wonder if i remove the control module from under the drivers seat, will it correct the issue or give me the "slow: 35mph max" message constantly. Anybody know?
thanx all
Peter

pull wire conector from light up switch, and pull bulb out where it pops anything up about ride height. You know nothing is really wrong when the lights come up anyway.

Congratulations. Looks Like it was a while ago that you did the conversion. Are you still please with the decision to go to coils. I am planning to do mine this weekend. Did you do it exactly like the Arnott instructions? Can a wheel be done one at a time or do you have to have the whole front or back up at one time. If so did you use jack stand on both sides and a jack under the axel. Seems fairly straight forward. I think I am where you were when you took on the task. Thanks again.
