Default Dependalbility - Range Rover Sports

Hi, I'm planning to buy a Range Rover Supercharged soon, but really wonder its reliability and dependability on this model. I understand that Land Rover past models some are giving lot of problems in term of electronic, engine, suspension, and etc... but not sure about now or on this model.

So, before final decisions being made and will be using it as a daily transport, I really need some help here and hope any of you able to give some comments, suggestion, and etc...

Thanks yah...have a great day!

What year were you thinking? Try to get one under warranty if you can. First thing you need to know is rovers are very complex vehicles and will have the usual issues that any normal luxury car will have, and then some. The problems on the newer ones are fairly minor and almost entirely electric. I am not to familiar with the rr sport, so I don't have a whole lot of advice. There are some issues with the cv joints or something like that and quite possibly the differentials because they share the same components of the LR3 (which had issues with it's differentials). Do a fair amount of research on this before you buy. Rovers are not the kind of car you just jump into without thinking. Whether you like it or not, if you buy a rover, chances are it will teach you a lot about how cars work (especially the older ones, like mine ). The power trains on these vehicles are rock solid and will last a very long time. The electrics however, get a bit quirky. There will always be some little issue that comes to the surface for no reason, and then just disappears. Like, maybe one day you'll be on the highway and hear a buzzing sound, or the air suspension decides to quit, and then problem will be gone the next time you go to start it. One other thing, some owners consider tires wearing out a little faster, a reason to rate rover as unreliable... So some of their owners, especially the ones that buy rovers brand new, are usually harder to please.
