Default Did you know...about your 2007+ Range Rover?

I thought that this would be a good place to share some tips about the Range Rovers that aren't necessarily common knowledge. Idon't know all of the years that this applies to but I can say that it applies to at least2007 and up.

Some of these tips were discussed in other threads but this is a consolidated place to store them. Feel to add any tips / tricksthat you know of...

First Tip; When you get out of the car in the cold you can hit the MAX buttonin the center stack to recirculate warmair throughout the car for roughly 30 mintues. It definitely keeps the car warmer when you have a quick shopping errand and I use it all of the time.

I think that this tip applies to some of the older models as well as it came from BMW (it worked the same way on my last two BMW's).

Enjoy! [sm=icon_cheers.gif]

Here is another tip; after turning off the car you can pullback on the turn signal stock and it will turn on the headlights and back-up lights for about 30 seconds. I think that these are calledfollow me home lights (also found on BMW's).

Alarm System and Locking:
The alarm system includes perimetric sensing of doors, bonnet, and tailgate, volumetric sensing which detects, ultrasonically, movement in the vehicle, engine immobilization which shuts down ignition and fueling.

Superlock Mode:One press of the lock button activates central locking, engine immobilization, and perimetric
alarm. Two presses give the maximum security of super locking - making it impossible to open the doors from inside or outside the vehicle - and activating the volumetric alarm.

When you leave your turnsignal stock in the down position when you turn off the car, the left side parking lights remain on. This is to give better visibility of your car when you are parked on a street for a short amount of time.

You can lock the suspension in access (AKA: Low) mode by pressing and then holdingdown thelow suspension mode. It will remain in low mode until you reach approximately 30 mph. Until I found this, I thought thatyou could only drive in access mode under 5 mph and was happy to discover this feature.
