Default Died with no warning..... 2000 Range Rover

Hey there.... New here and lookin for some feedback and advice. Bought my 2000 Range afew months ago. This thing was in great shape for its age 130,000 miles, well maintained... Of course with any used buy, it needs alittle love tires etc. Anyways... Never any issues, just changed the oil... Been driving awesome. Then... On my way home on the highway... Its just died. No warning lights no wierdness just died. Had it towed home and wouldnt you know it as soon as it came off the truck, I tired to start and she started. But running awful, sputtering, giving her gas and its almost sounds like she clogged. Alot of misfire, popping sounds. Is it a sensor, CAT???? Cannot get her anywhere... Died again at the bottom of my driveway... Now check engine light is on. Any help would be great... Thanks

First thing I would do is run the codes and see if that sheds some light on things. As long as it isn't something like random cylinder misfire it should point you in the right direction.
