I read in an article (http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?p...d=alQs3oaFa9Fg) that stated Tata's intentionsto introduce the world's cheapest car this year. Does it bother you that the parent company of your prestigious Range Rover alsosells an ultra cheap car? Do you think it tarnishes the image?

By the way, I heard that they are going to name it the Range Rover Super Sport.

Kidding!

I think it depends on how they market the Range Rover. I think we will be fine.

The Land Rover company still has its base in England, the big guns there wont allow tata to ruin the rover image. Tata is just the owner of Land Rover, and I dont think they will have (or want) much change made to the rover company. If it aint broken, dont fix it. Hopefully they are smart enough to see that.

I agree, I don't think it will have any impact. Mercedes makes trucks and the smart car and it certainly hasn't hurt them.

It sure is interesting to have vehicles on the opposite sides of the spectrum. I guess you could say that they are well diversified.
