I have a 1999 gems 4.0 p38. It's my first Rover and I love it, even with all of the issues that I will entertain everone with in the near future. Ok, todays question. Are the doors supposed to lock automatically when the car is put into drive? Mine never has, but now (sometimes), when I turn the car off and remove the key it locks me in. The first time this happened I only opened the driver door. When I got back in the car it would not start until I pressed the unlock button on the remote. Any ideas?
