Default Extended Warranty 03 RR

I thinking of buying a used Range Rover. I think I should get the extended warranty from the dealership. However they want about $3600 just for two years. Are the repairs so expensive just because its the dealership? Is the extended warranty worth getting?

Dealerships in general tend to charge a ridiculous amount in labor costs, and land rover is no exception. Its your call on the warranty. I personally would get it if I could, but I am more likely to take it to a local independent shop and do some of the diagnosing and little repairs myself.

Default Extended Warranty 03 RR

Do you guys think these things are worth the cost? Sometimes theyre in the 300 range, seems a bit high to me. The only extended warranty Ive ever purchased is Apple Care. If you were going to get a new Panasonic Plasma, would you guys get it? The TV is 1050 and the service plan is 349.

Thanks
