Fan question
so i bought an 87 rrc and the fan has no shroud over it... i was wondering if there even is one anyone know? and i want to change it over from mechanical to electrical fans any one have experience on what is the best product with a pretty easy install?
The mechanical fan is usually very effective as long as the clutch is working fine. Personally, I would just leave it alone
. There are electric condenser fans in the front. Some people I know have wired a switch to the relay on their P38s, so they can turn them on manually for extra cooling. I'm sure you can do it on the classic. As for the shroud, yes it should have one. It makes the fan more effective, and cools the alternator.
