Default frame bushing fell off 98 Range Rover?

Yesterday I found under my 98 Range Rover a rubber bushing that looks like a donut about 3 inches across on the ground.

I got under the Rover and saw it had fallen from the rear body frame that keep the metal frame from impacting the metal body.

It appears that it just pops on and off and the old one is nearly rotten. I cleaned the upper side if the metal and burned the old rubber bushing top to keep it from falling apart more.

I hot glued the donut bushing back into place and tye wrapped it from falling off again until I can find a replacement bushing. I live on a pot holed rough road.

I'm hoping some here can tell me what it's really called so I can order a pair of them.

I found Shock absorbers bushings but they don't look exactly like the bushing in question.

It's about 1+1/4 inch thick and 3 inch across. Do they POP on and off?

Rovers north has a great website with exploded views. Could it be a bump stop?

I found two things that look and sound like my part.

One is Bushing-Body to Frame

Two is Bump Stop

They look alike to me.

The location of the fallen part is below the chassis looking downward, with a post with a **** to hold it up. It should keep the lower frame from hitting the upper frame.

But that sound like a bump stop.

The only difference I see is 1 is $1.95, the other is $19.95

I still don't know which one to buy.

The bump stop varies online even for a 98 P38.

I found one at Motorcars that looks like the one that fell off, it's black not yellow. It's only $5+$5 shipping. Others online that says it fits a 98 P38 but are yellow and doesn't match.

How does it stay on?

Do you just push it on or does the center probe come off?

I just found my Rave CD and ID'd the location. It's a Bumpstop, but again the Rave shows an elongated bumpstop like the yellow one online.

I just looked at both of my bumpstops and they appear flat, black in color and just like a donut, 3 inch accross and 1+1/4 inch thick.

I don't want to just pull one the one that's still install on my P38. THe Rave simply says remove one bumpstop and install new one.

Just pull or pry the old one off?

Has anyone here replaced a bumpstop?
