Default good buy?

Hey guys i was just wondering what you guys think about this deal. Is this solenoid an easy fix or is it not even worth it? If so how much would you think it would cost to fix?

If you really like it, wait till he fixes it before you jump into an unknown problem.

Yeah you could probably get one that's working for that price... especially after you've paid to repair *whatever* the problem may be. I wouldn't assume it's just the solenoid. And if you do go for it i'd drive him down even more since P38's are selling for as low as 2K now. Seems high to me for a classic with transmission problems.

Best of luck whatever you decide.
